cpu fan controll, overheating help!

ok so i have a artic cooling freezer 7 cpu cooler. on my amd athlon x 4 750k on a F2A55-DS3 it keep overheating and shutting down randomly, i have re installed it 3 times now with thermal paste. i know how to install a dam cpu cooler. When it does overheat and shutdown the cpu fan keeps running and goes to its max speed. but when the computer is on normal it says at the same rpm what ever the heat on the cpu is. i had it on prime95 and 93c and it stayed the same speed as when it is on 48c. so i have been playing around in the bios changing it to manual settings and stuff and it is the same result, same speed all the time. i installed fanspeed and it found the cpu fan but wouldn’t change the dam speed on it. i am getting fed up i just want to be able to stick it on a high speed and be done with it. please help! My motherboard is a F2A55-DS3

Buy a simple fan controller.

Did you put a 4 pin fan on a 3 pin header or vice versa? Try the CPU fan on a different header.

This happened on one of my old boards. Some of the fan headers wouldn't supply the fan with enough volts and some wouldn't change the voltage at all. I would suggest trying different fan headers or buy a fan controller.
