Hello,

I started to oc my i5 4690k. I got to 4,6 GHz with 1,25 volts (all set in the latest f8 bios). Cpu-z says the voltage is 1,25 but in aida 64 and hwinfo it show 1,272. I also took a screenshot of all the monitoring programs under intel xtu running.

I also took a picture of bios voltage settings and noticed an anomaly.

i find that the readings differ slightly too. err on the side of caution and read from the highest value you can find

I have the same thing in my gigabyte bios too, doesn't bother me, just adjust sccordingly to get the HIGHEST value where you want it

Well 1,272 isn't too high anyways right?

Not at all. If your temps are fine then there's nothing to worry about

You shouldn't worry. Cpu-z and IETU show the VID voltage, which is the voltage the cpu calls, but the actual voltage going through can be higher or lower depending on how the MB and the internal FIVR supply it.

And yeah, 1.272 for 4.6GHz is actually really good. I also have the 4690k and to reach 4.4GHz I need 1.304v.
