I'm new to SSDs, first time having one, should I bother with SSD caching? I've just encountered this while surfing the net and I was thinking if I should setup mine. Will I gain something or will it affect my SSD badly?

Nah, SSD caching is only worth it if the SSD is very small. Your SSD is big enough that you're better off just using it as a regular boot drive.

Oh okay, currently my SSD is my boot drive and HDD for games. One more thing do I need to install Intel Smart Response Technology? I found it on my MOBO's website and was wondering if I need to install this?

Smart Response Technology is Intel's version of SSD caching. So you don't need that.
