hello ... iam buliding a new Rig for Gaming whitch is better ?

1- i5 4590 + ASUS H81M-A LGA1150 MBO + gtx 980

2- i5 4690k + ASROCK z97 extreme 4 MBO + CRYORIG R1 ultimate dual tower heatsink CPU cooler + gtx 970

additional info : RAM : hyperX fury blue 1600 Mhz

case : cooler master force 500 (and i will change it's PSU for 550W or so .... )

storage : WD BLUE 7200 RPM 1 tb i will buy a SSD in future

screen : 21.5 inch full HD 1920 X 1080

4690k with 390x ??? What is your budget, and what do you need imcluded? OS, Monitor, peripheals.

number 1... very very few games will benefit more from a better cpu but all will benefit from the better gpu

For 1080p I'd get the one with the unlocked CPU and the 970

 

But, if you plan on getting more monitors, or ones with highers resolutions, get the one with the 980. But, I'd save some money getting a 4460.

the budget is 1050$ (without monitor/DVD player/mouse&keybourd)

honestly idon't prefer ATI/AMD they are power hungry beasts .... i may save some money by buying r9 390x instead of gtx 980 however that money wiil be spent on a bigger powersupply i had asked many people pefore and they are kida.... 50-50 with those 2 options !
