So I had a non-emergency Appendectomy two nights ago...

I'm not getting pain in my shoulders. Googling it, it's likely the CO2 they put in my stomach to be able to move and see better inside.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get rid of the pain? The pain pills they gave me don't seem to affect it much... Just make it from gut-wrenching to slightly tolerable.

Be a man, if you are a man, and ride it out!

That's a sexist statement. You're pretty much saying that the "manly" way is to suck it up and deal but the "womanly" way is to... well, not?

Wait so your post says you don't have pain but the title does? You could always call up your doctor if it worries you.

I had the same after an operation, it went away after a week or two though.

if the pain pills arent working you have two options.  call your doctor and get stronger ones, or suck it up and deal with it.

i have constant shoulder pain from an injury a few years ago, but they refused to give me anything stronger than vicodin which doesnt work on me. i have to take 4 times the normal amount to have any effect, so i dont take anything and just deal with it.
