Good thermal paste?

Best is pretty excessive.

Noctua, artic silver 5 are both good ones that won't break the bank.

thermal grizzly kryonaut is the best at the moment unless you want to move into liquid metals(which i dont suggest)

The difference is really small among good thermal pastes, like within a degree *C or so.

Just tried T-Grizzly Kryonaut today. I see no noticeable difference in temp compares to Gelid GC Extrreme. Tried both "pea" and "spread" methods. Exactly the same temp of six cores average both times running AIDA64 for 30 mins. 0.25*C better than Gelid GC Extreme, that falls in to margin of error. Room temp during the whole test is from 20.2*C to 20.4*C.

But T-Grizzly Kryonaut is two time as expensive as Gelid GC Extreme. Maybe if you do LN2, the difference will be bigger.

Just get whatever is available. MX-4, GC Extreme, Noctua NT-H1...they are all good.
