I change my mobo and put the msi gtx 960 to the new one but when I botted it the GPU is running , the led and the fan power up but monitor detected no signal ...

My pc is currently running on intel integrated gpu,

I reinstall os but no luck , still not detected ,

My mobo is asus z97 pro gamer..

Guys anyones know the solution for this?

In the bios, MAKE SURE, the graphics slot is not SET to AUTO - If it sees a dedicated GPU it still may use the onboard as primary.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

What do you have the monitor plugged in to? Motherboard or the dedicated card?

did you clear the CMOS?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

there should be a pair of pins for your to short with the PC turned off

 

 

otherwise

 

remove the battery on the board

 

leave it for 1 min

 

install it back and power on the PC

Still no luck :/

try the GPU on another PC

 

if not you might have a dead GPU
