I recently just got a G1 gaming 980Ti and ever since i've been having problems... I hear this beep and then it screws with my keyboard (K70 RGB). it makes my "WASD" keys almost seem like they're staying pressed for a second... I thought my keyboard was acting up... but then I found out that even typing msg's on Facebook, Twitch, Twitter etc, it would like delay and then catch up. I've swapped the 980Ti out with a 760 and played a game with it and I didn't hear a beep, or keyboard didn't mess up once. Never encountered a problem like this even with my old 980 I had. And I've read up that it could be CPU but I don't have a bad cpu. I've looked at the Temps they stay at 40 for the gpu & cpu at idle and about 45-50 Celcius (for both) when gaming Cs:Go. Could it just be a faulty card?

CPU: i7 4790k

Mobo: Maximus Hero vii

PSU: CM 850w

OS: Windows 7 Home prem (x64)

Bios Version: 0904

RAM: 8gb Fury Blue 1600mhz

It might possibly be a faulty card, however I'd try reinstalling your GPU Drivers first. If you didn't before the switch that might be part of the problem.

Before you RMA it contact Gigabyte support and ask them to see if they can help you with anything. If all else fails, RMA it.

Key logger,

I second this. This is keylog behavior.

What is key logging? Ok, read up on it. Why does it only do it on this Card? (980 Ti)?

could be damaged memory on the card too. Or just that the card is faulty in some other way

but it sounds a lot like a key logger, but not if it happens when you change the GPU card,

Yea, It only happens on the 980 ti.. I had a 980 before worked perfectly fine for a year straight. used the 760 for about 4 days worked same as 980 switched to 980 ti and everything started screwing up.

try cleaning the contacts on the card with 91% isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip check for and blow out any debris in the slot. also try putting the card into another slot. try re-seating the ram.
