So I recently bought a used ultrabook that has a 500gb HDD and a 24gb SSD for cache etc. When trying to reinstall windows I ran into some problems so I had to wipe all drives. In bios I set it to Legacy bios(rather than UEFI) and installed the OS on the 500gb HDD. Now the system seems a bit slower than it was before. When I go into Bios I cant set it back to UEFI because it just doesnt recognise the HDD in that case. So I think that the SSD isnt working as a cache drive anymore.

So my question is how do I set it up to work as a cache drive again, because right now I think its doing nothing.

Thanks!!!

I have an Acer Aspire S3-391
