What drivers do I need?

I am going to reinstall windows on my laptop (Asus F550DP-XX055H)

Can someone help me in what drivers I need?

Start with all of the basics, LAN/Video/Audio and Chipset

 

Then Start > Run devmgmt.msc

 

Look for any unknown devices here and right click > properties

 

Goto the details Tab and select Hardware ID's dropdown google the VEN_xxxx&DEV_xxxx this will normally tell you what the device/hardware is that's not installed, as the Asus page appears to have a couple of variants for Wifi on that board if you use this method to determine which manufacturer it is then download the relevant drive from the asus page (or preferably direct from the manufacturer website as they may have a more recent version).

 

If you post the VEN&DEV id's that are unknown here i'll happy research which specific drivers work for you.

Which one is the chipset?

Its an AMD board (not my area of expertise) is that using an APU? As I can only see 6-9 series drivers on the AMD site and the APU is the A-Series.

 

Again not hot on AMD so correct me if i'm wrong people
