Chrome & AV blocking Uplay.

Downloaded uplay from https://uplay.ubi.com/#!/sv-SE/ and when it got downloaded chrome showed file blocked and the message "File is rarely downloaded and may be malicious" (This is me translating from my own language) but i let it install, after that i tried to run it but than my AV blocked it (Bitdefender Free).

 

I downloaded uplay to download rainbow six siege as i was accepted for the "technical test".

 

Can i unblock it or can someone link me a different download site if this one was bad.

well... theres that thing with -what game was it again- where the DRM caused unnecessary wear on SSDs...

 

that was ubisoft wasnt it? so theoretically it contains things that are malicious

Dragon Age: Inquisition was the game that was accused of that. So Origin.

I just tested this as well

and you are right

it does block it

ubisoft is probably crying and wiping their tears with preorder money

Like I said, Dragon Age was accused of it.

 

Both games used the same DRM.
