can i get a 4k monitor?

Yes, I wanna assemble a PC. I am totally noob to this.

Usage:

Not a gamer but play games like Counter Strike once in a while. High end gaming isn't my thing.

I am into programming and web developing. I use android studio, Photoshop and other adobe software very frequently.

Watching videos and surfing internet is in considerably high amount so I need storage. Tell me cheapest I can buy with capacity around 4tb or less.

Budget:1000$

here, no need to spend 1000$ on it - in fact this is probably more than you need already, but since you have the money might as well make it great amirite?

unless you need a monitor and os with it too - then that may not fit in the leftover money, if that's the case tell me and I'll make a cheaper build

With what money? Those are 450$ and up. To afford one with your budget you'd need to drop the dedicated gpu, downgrade the cpu and give up the two hard disks or a hard disk and the ssd. At which point you wouldn't have sufficient performance for playing games and your productivity would suffer as well.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

That's up to you. It's very subjective based on the window sizes you like to use with your software.

If you've used 1080 before, a good thing to ask yourself is if you'd prefer larger windows and see more of your content when you have the windows full-screen.

Edit // Food for thought:  I just saw this in the Hot Deals section.  It's factory refurbished. But it's Samsung, so it's solid.

As @watts300 said, it's entirely up to you. 4k is godsend for this sort of work, but that carries a cost. If you think you can work well enough with a 1080p monitor, then spare your money and jump to 4k when the prices drop under 250$. If instead you really want the surface area, all you need to do is shell out another 300$. Bare in mind however that the 750/ti doesn't have a displayport port, so you'll need to go for a different graphics card (specifically an amd one, anything inbetween the r7 250x and r9 270 will do just fine).

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
