LAN Party Setup Ideas?

Hey guys! So I'm pretty damn bored right now, and lately I have been thinking of hosting a lan party. I want to hear your guys' ideas for a lan party setup. I work in the server hosting business, so I have access to basically anything but 10/40g stuff. I have a ton of fiber cable, servers, and switches laying around too, so go crazy if you want. I look forward to hear your ideas!

For a lan party, a 1Gb unmanaged switch suffices, I'm not sure what else could be done even if you are just trying to be awesome about it. The only idea that comes to mind is to have a seperate VLAN and/or subnet for the gaming room and use that for both traffic prioritization and to keep guests off your home network, where you presumably have a storage/media server and computers that may be susceptible to viruses that people bring into the gaming network.

I've seen it before.(I used to spend days at a time looking around youtube for networking vids lel) It is definitely an awesome setup.
