Should I buy this 980 instead of the 970?

Ekko

I was planning on buying a 970 in my country and it costs around $330 - $420 (depending on the manufacturer) but I saw a 980 that costs around $430 and the rest of the 980s cost $500-$550+ while the 980ti costs around $680-$750+

The specific 980 that sells for $430 is the "Inno3D Geforce GTX 980 OC 4GB" (product page is: http://www.inno3d.com/products_detail.php?refid=121).

I don't know why they're selling it for so low compared to the other 980s so I called their store and had them to confirm that it is indeed $430 and brand new/sealed.

Is that 980 any good? Should I buy it rather than the 970?

Where? You in the US?

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.

Reference cards are always cheap here(Philippines) my friend.

If you're not into custom PCBs and coolers that GTX 980 is a steal.

Edit:

Forget what I said, that's a ref. design with a custom cooler.

So yeah, that's a good card.

Is this the same card? Haven't heard a lot about Inno3D but it seems really solid and at that price point it's well worth buying.

From salty to bath salty in 2.9 seconds
