Hey all.  I wanted to just some help and opinions on upgrading a old all in one to windows 10.  Its the dell inspiron one 19 (product support page on dell http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/servicetag/9YGRSL1/configuration )  IT says on that page that windows 10 isnt and will not be supported and i wanted to get some other opinions.  would it still be worth the upgrade or should i not bother.  The pc isnt mine or i would do it and if problems ever crept up id deal with them but i am trying to get this thing to were it just works for basic tasks.  Thanks in advance.

it already runs windows 7 so it should be fine, when they say it wont be supported they probably mean that they wont be creating or updating any drivers that may be needed if any issues come along

you can give it a try, update to windows 10 and if you have any issues just revert to windows 7 like nothing happened

You can give it a shot, in my experience about 9 out of 10 times it doesn't matter and the drivers will install perfectly.  But that 1 out of 10 times it fucking sucks.  Make sure you do a clean install though.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Pretty much as everyone has said, driver compatibility is going to be the limiting factor. My IdeaPad P580 isn't on Lenovo's list of supported devices so now it has a bunch of battery and display issues that in theory can be solved with a driver update. Whether or not that will happen is anyone's guess. It's an Ivy Bridge so I still have my hopes up.
