if you heavily over clock mine has more cores so some games that need more that 2 to be played (yes there are some) can be played. and he'd need a CPU cooler stock wont work on the CPU you need on that CPU

first of all, you can easily overclock with the stock cooler. second of all, an 860k and a 260x is going to be destroyed by a G3258 and a 270.

Even if heavily overclocking, the stock cooler fares decently on a G3258. You wouldn't want to use it over 1.28V, but it will do.

overall, no it is not. also, the cx430 is the only cx power supply that is reccommended. it's perfectly fine for budget builds, which this is. I doubt the XFX unit is much better.

I disagree. the G3258 isn't going to hold back a 270, and it will be just as fast or faster than an i3 for daily tasks due to it's ability to be overclocked.

i need to install 3d mark too and thats gonna take a while so it might not be for an hour steam estimated the download at 59 min but it usually doesn't take as long as steam says

ok after a bit of working i managed to get a 270 in without going to high over budget
