Okay so I am looking to buy my first mechanical keyboard and have narrowed my choices down to either the K70 or the WASD. My budget is limited to $150 so no rgb for me. I would go for the K70 but due to my budget I can only get cherry mx RED switches. Is it still worth it? Are reds as bad as everyone makes out?

P.S I'm a sucker for good aesthetics and am going for a red theme to match the theme off my rig. I like pwetty colors and lights :D

All switches are good, it's a personal preference. I like reds most for some reason, even for typing.

If you are in the US, check what @Ronnie76 suggested you. CM boards are good in terms of quality, especially Rapid and XT, because they are made by Filco.

u wanna RGB with Red Switches ? get K65 RGB

This. This!!! The brushed aluminum panel is a nice touch. The keys don't collect dirt/cheetos and that's also nice. Tenkeyless configuration means your mouse is closer to your keyboard, which is usually a plus for gamers. :)
