This was KINDA answered before but I will like to dedicated this post to that answer specifically.

Some people believe this is true (youtubers/Razer), does mouse pad surface really have a huge-ish impact on mice performance.

I mean almost all pads/mats are labled optical, are their any lazer mice pad even thou they all work togather. such as the vengeance 1600 which only says it

is geared for gaming mice as closest to lazer...

Not to my knowledge. Just get a cloth pad, they track well for everything.

I have no experience of this, but from what I can tell it differs from mouse to mouse. I know Zowie mice are supposed to be a little fussy and prefer plain black pads, for example.

If you're worried about mouse pad/mouse compatibility, avoid the jazzy ones and get a plain black cloth one. I believe that avoids most issues.

From my experience, it really depends at what level of gaming one is at. If ur an extremely casual gamer, you would prolly not notice that ur mouspad affects ur mouse's tracking. the thing abt most mousepads is that companies like Razer and SS heavily stress that their pads would work with all mice, be it optical or laser.

now when one is at a substantially higher tier in gaming, you'd very likely be using an optical mouse. by then, one should be able to distinctly feel(see) that the kind of mousing surface makes a difference.

not saying that the average Razer or SS pads suck but they are pretty much an ordinary pad with a logo slapped on it.

All in all, if ur a casual gamer or a heavy gamer(heavy doesn't need to be good at the game u play, idk what kind of preference u like but majority like to have the "best" gear so pple think they are "pro" lol), then just get a simple pad from Razer or SS =)

otherwise, look no further than Zowie & Artisan pads. Their products are unparalleled thus far.

alright thx guys, all I needed. I thought Their was no difference either since, well its obvious that unless if you been playing on a couch and the switched to a pad is difference but otherwise it seems be the same.

I stumbled upon a youtuber who claimed that Razer claimed that deathadder work better and best on harder surface and I checked the web and they say that yes lazer seem beter, anyway enough,

Thank You Guys
