Just would take up more room, and you'd have to have a way to cool that liquid that the radiator is submerged in too.

using mineral oil in the lines ( not submerging )

 

submerging the radiator in liquid

 

like the whole room coolin, using a car radiator or hydronic baseboard then to the outside or my case the unused fireplace next to my pc.

 

what do ya think? 

 

Already been done, but unsure why you want to use oil which is thicker than water, car radiators you'd need one made from copper or brass but most are aluminium now so you'd have to use some form of anti corrosion fluid etc, it's all pretty pointless imo when you can simply buy off the shelf stuff with a lot less hassle.
