Games dont work after Documents path change - NEED HELP

Hi,

My hard drive path was recently corrupted, so I had to create a new one. One of the document paths that was corrupted was the ones with Documents (yes of course some of the most important files) so I had to create a new path and copied all of the documents into the new path. However, some of my games do not work now. I have problems with AC Unity, watch dogs, mad max AC3 and Batman Arkham Orgins as far as I know. They crash on startup. Is there any way to change the location of where the game is targeting to get files from for startup? Maybe some of my games are still attempting to get files from my old paths?

Thanks,

Roboslash

I have tried countless times. I would be so desperate if I hadn't tried everything I could possibly think of.

Many games will have registry entries pointing to locations on the install drive so when you move the game it might not work correctly.

Yeah this is something I am looking for. I havent moved the game, but one of the game files (the documents) have been moved to different paths. Any way to redirect the location for the game to find these document files again?

Now that I think about it, I've run into this before when I had a hard drive fail. I had a game on a SSD and my documents, etc pointed at the HDD. I was getting some odd errors when trying to load. This is almost similar to what you are experiencing. I am very sorry, I don't remember if I was able to google my way out it or had to do a fresh install.

I know when folks move games, some will use steam mover
