I'm planning on getting a new pc and I need help picking parts

I'm going to use it mainly for gaming.

My budget is around 1000$.

I'm going to use it mainly for gaming.

My budget is around 1500$ probably less since where I live everything cost a bit more.

 

 

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz

CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 13

Motherboard: Asus H81M-K Micro ATX

GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB*

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 1600Mhz 2x8GB

Hard Drive: :Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB

SSD: Corsair Force LS 120GB 2.5"

PSU: SeaSonic 620W 80+ Bronze

* I prefer to stay with an nvidia GPU

What do you plan to do with it, 1080p gaming at max settings if so this is fine 1440 at high will also be fine

That board is not good enough for that cpu,apart from not being able to oc

Yeah I didn't see the H81 chipset in the motherboard, he'll want a z97

If your doing just gaming then you don't really need an i7. An i5 will be plenty. Get a Z97 mobo so you can overclock. Why stay with nvidia? If you really want to go ahead but the 390 will perform better. But if you go with an i5 you could get a 980
