One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

A. May I suggest you put a 280 slim 30mm rad in there instead of the 240.

B. Good luck getting all of those parts in the s340...that case doesn't give much room to work after filling it with hardware

C. Avoid Corsair fans, they may look good, but they are loud...Noctua fans and even Fractal Design's Venturi fans are quieter and performs much better.

D. Only get the 120 rad if you feel that your temperatures are too high after assembling it the first time

I have chosen two slim radiators, and I am not sure wether I only need the 240mm one or the 240mm and 120mm rad.

Please Help...

Your basically at the bare minimum requirement of one 120mm rad space per component, ideally 360mm would be good or more if you want dead silent cooling while at load.

So what are estimated temperatures if I link my 980 Ti and 4790K to a 280mm rad? Anything under 40 degrees would be excellent!

Dude, stop dreaming, it's not possible to cool a 4790k and a 980ti and have it under 40C on a SINGLE 280 SLIM rad. It may be possible if it is idling....but I doubt it

It's just a better idea to go with a 280 than just cooling with a 240 since the case supports a 280 rad in the front. The more surface area you have, the better temperature you would have...

Sooooo, 280mm is perfect?

It would be better I would say go for a 45mm thick rad since you can fit it at the front it will provide a bit more performance, as said the S340 isn't the best watercooling case out there.

Also 40C maybe at idle or low load I have a 60mm thick 360mm rad and a 45mm 240 mm rad on my 4790K and 970 they stay cool at idle but at load they can hit 70C on the CPU and 50C on the GPU. Both overclocked however.

OK, thank you all!

one 360 and one 240 plus the 120 will be fine, thin or not as long as the fans can penetrate the rads you're good to go. There's no replacement for displacement!
