What size pictures for background?

The optimal resolution seems to correlate with the resolution of the monitor being used, which will obviously vary from person to person. For instance, when you use a 1080p monitor with a 1920x1200 wallpaper, it is zoomed out further than a higher resolution wallpaper

 

Also keep in mind that if the wallpaper is a lower resolution than your display, it will often appear too small and show the background beneath it, unless you choose to tile the image (which isn't suitable in a lot of cases). So essentially, since hardly any of us have 4K displays and at most maybe a 2560x1600 monitor, using 2560x1440 should work well for most people

I'm not entirely sure, but mine is a 1080p image that doesn't repeat itself.

It'd probably be very beneficial if you took a screenshot of the profile customization page with your current settings.

Profile>Edit my profile>Profile Customization>press Print Screen button>Open MS Paint>Press CTRL+V>edit the image if necessary (censoring private information, etc.)>save>upload the image
