Refresh Rate Help Plz!

Go to solution Solved by o0Martin,

It's 60Hz @ 1080p

I am thinking of buying the Acer S231HL from someone for 60 bucks and I can't find the refresh rate for the monitor. What is the refresh rate @ 1080p?

CPU: i5 4690 GPU: Powercolor R9 390 RAM: 2X4GB DDR3-1600 G.Skill Ripjaws X Case: NZXT S340 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H CPU Cooler: Some cooler I took off of an old Socket 775 Mobo

The default is 60Hz. It ranges depending on certain settings and resolutions(like for example, if the resolution is set to a lower setting, you can increase the refresh rate from 60Hz to 75Hz).

Lol the scan range? That's a little bit different.

The monitor out of the box will be running at 60Hz @ 1080p. It's a 60Hz refresh rate monitor.

Although using the vertical and horizontal scanning rate on that spec page you can kind of calculate the max refresh rate if you were to overclock it, it comes out to about 73Hz.

Those specifications aren't really that useful to most people now a days, they were a lot more useful when everyone was using CRT displays
