Hi guys, i'll upgrade my rig but i don't choose yet the platform. What do you recommend for games and, adobe and autodesk suite. I'll do oc at 4.3GHz any CPU. Another thing, i want the option more longer, i don't like haswell or AMD.
The price difference does matter.

MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming + 3570K

ECS X79R-AX + 3820

Thanks.

What's your current rig?

Why not Haswell or AMD?

Budget?

Intel I7-4930K with ASUS Rampage IV/V Extreme would make a good choice.

How long can you wait for the build? Haswell-E comes out in about a year with DDR4 support.

A 3930K with a RIVE? If you have the money!

I like that one, but i don't have a lot money

What's your current rig?

Why not Haswell or AMD?

Budget?

None, i sold it, the motherboard and CPU

I think AMD is poor, and haswell is the same thing IB only with new iGPU

More or less, 250 for the motherboard if is 2011 and 200 if is 1155.

I can't wait, i don't have another PC.

AMD is not poor. Both AMD and Intel have their pros and cons and fit different usage scenarios.

Haswell performs about 10% better than Ivy.

What are you using the system for? Are you just looking for a cpu and mobo or a whole new system?

It's not wise to allocate separate funds for each part. You get more out of your money if you balance you parts together.

What's your total budget?
