I think that motherboard will look out of place. With the gold and all.

I tried to match it with the copper blocks

go 840 Pro

2 780s have been shown to be better than 2 titans

why are you getting a h110i and doing a custom loop?

I'd go socket 2011 for this build. The 4820k that is coming out is looking very good.

1600Mhz ram, and GTX 780's instead of titans.

What are you using the system for? It's quite a powerful config you have there.

when youre doing a 5k build its worth it

No perceivable difference for normal usage.

when youre spending this much you are going past performance per dollar territory into just 'bragging rights', which the 840 pro fits

At that point, you might as well get more ssds for raid 10 instead of getting more expensive ssds.

ill do that.

If you're going to wait until Ivy Bridge-E, why not hold out until October to see how the AMD R9-D970 performs? Don't believe any rumors out now, since none of them are confirmed by AMD, but if it does outperform the GTX 780, you'll be glad you waited. If it doesn't, well, you can always get GTX 780's at that point in time.

Also, multi-GPU configurations on AMD's side has been getting better in terms of drivers. They once had tons of micro stutter, but ever since Catalyst 13.8 Beta, they've been decimated.

is there any reason the h100i was on there?

when it was a $2000 budget originally it had one, but when I increased the budget to add the custom loop i forgot to get rid of it

Get Samsung 840 EVO SSD's and run them in RAID 0/10. They come out in 3 days on Newegg, that's what I heard at least .

Also, according to this thread, and this post, there might be a Rampage V Extreme.

I wont be building this for a while, so the Rampage V Extreme might be a option soon same for the 9000 series

840 Evo SSDs will be added soon
