Hand Drive Corrupt

Hi....

my hard drive mad a poping/boilng noise and then everything stopped working... when I rebooted, it didn't detect a hard drive at all... what's wrong with it?

I like Computer Stuffs. Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it in again? Automation Expert (Bots, scripts, etc)! Add me on Xbox Live: JollyPlanet449 And on Steam!: Baxtmann Wanshow.tips is a cool place too

See I'm no expert but I think it's broken.

Hey there baxtmann, 
 
I would try the drive on another SATA port with another cable and, possibly, on another computer and see if it gets detected in BIOS, DEvice Manager or Disk Management before deciding it has failed. Those noises often indicate failure but not always. I would also try testing it with a tool from the manufacturer as well as attempt to detect it with Linux Live CD.
