Battery shelf life

Hi guys,

Im buying an original oem pr06 hp battery for my probook 4530s, this is because my one died. Hiw badly will storage effect the battery since the hp oem battery may have been in storage a while. Also im buying from a reputable company but the oem battery less than through hp part store. The reputable company gets it through supplyers but i dont know if the supplyers buy from hp directly. Is this the legit hp battery, it had a 5 star review from the only other buyer, this is bc the battery is not a popular item at the shop as they mainly sell other computer equipment. So basically should this be the legit OEM battery and how bad does storage effect it for how long? I can supply a link if needed to the item.
