OBS takes my vote. I started using xsplit first, but then I was told OBS was better. I gave OBS a try and found it actually gave me better stream quality. xD I'd try both out, without paying anything. Try seeing which one gives you the best quality.

The free version of Xsplit is very limiting. And the biggest problem there is the really bad audio quality. If you want to get decent audio quality then you have to pay for Xsplit.

That said I've not used Xsplit for a while. And mostly played around with OBS. OBS might be a little more complicated to use but it's nothing that difficult. And it's free so you might as well try it of you are starting out and seeing all the streaming software options.

There is also streaming program called FFsplit. I've played around with it a little as well. It seems OK. I got a little better performance on OBS. But since you are checking things out you might as well look into it.

Setting up stream will take testing anyway so might as try out different software as well.
