SLI has to have the same amount of Vram so if you have a 2GB and 4GB card it won't work and I really wouldn't waste a SLI on something like a 960 just upgrade to a 970 or 980

I thought it was as long as it was the same graphics core and it would mirror the lowest amount of VRAM.

AMD crossfire can do that but not Nvidia SLI

Not sure why a lot of people despise the GTX 960 so much. I would agree that the 2GB card is a waste. But I have owned a 4GB card and have been very happy with the performance and overclocking capabilities.

As far as SLI goes, It would take the lowest settings of the 2 cards. If you have a 2GB card and SLI it with 4GB card, The 4GB card would lose 2GB. If you have a 1308Mhz card and SLI it with a 1200Mhz card, the 1308Mhz card would be downclocked to 1200Mhz.

Introduced my wife to Skyrim. Haven’t had a sandwich in weeks.
