My cousin recently purchased a vehicle from a dealership and the vehicle randomly locked up, and the windows and doors will open, but the steering wheel is stiff and won't move, and the key won't go inside.

It's like locked out, and we have no idea what to do, what do you guys think we should do?

Thank you for the help.

Call the dealership its likely something they have seen before and may tell you how to fix, if not it may waste your time

Will do in the morning, I believe it's asking for a code of some sort so it's most likely an ignition security system of some sort.

Thanks.

Oh, i've gotten this with my minivan many times.

It's just totally locked up. Just turn it to the right or to the left all the way and slip the key in when it goes in.

When a alarm goes off on a car, and isnt disarmed correctly, the car will lock down.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Turn the steering wheel to the right or to the left, right?

Turn it all the way to the left and slot the key in. If it doesn't go in, try turning to the right.

What year MBZ?  Some models with the Smartkey system will do that exact thing if the battery isn't fully charged.  The Smartkey system uses a random rolling code and if the voltage is low it will lockout the system to avoid toasting the key FOB when it goes to update the code.
