Go for a i5 4960k

swap the fx 6300 for an i3

 

Not if hes rendering videos on a daily basis. The 6300 poops all over the i3's for rendering.

So I should go with Fx?

 

If you're rendering on a daily basis, and you feel you would rather sacrifice 5-10fps depending on the game and how well its optimized, for rendering times much faster than the i3, then go for it.

 

But if you're not going to be doing a lot of rendering then the i3 will suffice for the occasional rendering, and constant gaming stuff.

Dude, I am from India. With the current prices in India, i advice you to save up more money like 50,000-60,000 and get a better rig.

That CPU doesn't exist.

There is an i7 4960k and NO!

I'd suggest you save up double the money and then get a PC that will serve you for longer, by that time even the prices might be lower.

 

BUILD:
CPU - Athlon X4 860k - 75$

MOBO - Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM - 70$

RAM -  2x G.SKILL RipjawsX Series 4GB (Memory Model F3-12800CL9S-4GBXL) - 60$
GRAPHICS - R7 370 - 150$ for 2gigs or 180$ for 4gigs of VRAM or even better GTX 960 200$

PSU - EVGA 500W - 40$
CASE - Corsair SPEC-01 - 60$ or Thermaltake Versa H21 - 50$

Total: 405$ to 505$

 

*I didn't include HDD because you can use your old one, or just buy the least expensive that will server your needs.
