I am looking for a gaming rig that will run the newer games at tolerable FPS and high settings. I will want it with an FX-8350 Processor and a 7990 GPU. Yes OS, but no peripherals. Red and Black color scheme. Budget is $1500-$2000. Would also like the potential for OC'ing.

CPU: i7-4770k CPU Cooler: NH-D14 RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb GPU: EVGA Superclocked 780 ti MOBO: ASUS Maximus VI Gene PSU: Corsair RM 850 Case: Bitfenix Prodigy M

For that kind of Budget why 8350 any special reason? Intel would do better at that budget.

Maybe he's an AMD fan boy :)

AMD is great performance for the price, but I agree that with that budget you should go with an Intel processor.  I'd still rock that 7990 though.

You sure?

Oh stop it. I didn't mean it like that. CPU doesn't really mean shit in games when you play at 1080p+ CURRENTLY. Intel is faster in everything else.

But sure, fuck multitasking and everything else. If you are just going to go home, turn on your PC, get on Steam, Origin or Uplay and launch a game. Then by all means, go for the 8350. But if you are doing anything else aswell I would recommend Intel.

O.o but... the 8350 is superior while streaming? I'm confused :S why go for the inferior Intel if you're streaming? Infact Intel is better for 1080p, the 3570k is perfect for 1080p purely gaming.
