Okay so, What would be a good monitor? we are getting into 4k era now but 4k is still high end and not many people push videos out in 4k or push games with with 4k res, SO, what would be a monitor that would be better than 2 laptops and 2 old big boxes but not as stupidly expensive as 4k monitor, sure id like to find a 4k monitor for under 500$ but even then 500$ is a bit steep.. lol jk, a video card is more than 500, but anyways.. what is a realistic, practical monitor to get for NOW not to last for another 4 or 5 cycles like cough 4k monitors, but just something that can withstand modern games and upcoming games at medium-max with a better resolution then again.. 2 laptop monitors, and 2 CRT's i think they are called? so yea, anything is better then 2 boxes clogging up a tiny desk, in short..

flat screen, realistic practical resolution for games such as Elite Dangerous, War Thunder, Farcry 3 for a general idea of performance usage i seek.. that help? but yea, any ideas anyone?, i just overkilled the entire computer build list so far, a monitor i can just use CRT's but id rather get a modern-day monitor lol.
