4K Display Suggestions Please

Muncheyz

What's up, my first post here on the wonderful LTT Forums.

A few things before, I do game, but I'm not really bothered about 120/144hz as I'm just pretty casual. Then why 4K? because why not. xD

So, my question today is that i have my eyes on the Asus PB287Q and Acer XB280HKb.

Both look very appealing in their own way in which I will use them.

I play consoles from time to time via capture card and with the PB287Q I could play via a splitter rather than through capture software, which I currently do and would do again with the XB280HKb.

Then the XB280HKb has G-Sync and man I would like to try that.

I also know about the LG 27MU67.

The only things I need in the monitor of choice is for it to have pivot and to be 27 or 28 inches.

Then features that would be nice but are not important (Don't have to be all together):

IPS

10bit Colours

Speakers (Only for when watching anime in bed)

Low response time

I'm probably missing out some stuff, but can't think of anything else. So we'll stick with this for now.

Thanks in advance. :D

Speakers

Speakers in displays are generally not worth the effort to use, as even cheap speakers tends to sound better. At least when it comes to PC monitors.

And if you are juggeling more then 2 sources, so might it be worth looking into PB279Q

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

That's a pretty sweet display, will go on my little list for now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Also about the speakers thing, it would only be for when watching anime in bed, nothing major, i'll throw that in the post.

No reason to get the PB287Q when the Dell P2715Q is about the same price in most regions, and better in every way. It's similar to the PB279Q but normally a lot cheaper, and works better with consoles since it scales 1080p a lot better than the ASUS.

Do you have a gpu that can output 10bit colour? Probably not, as I don't think any of the Nvidea (GTX) and AMD consumer line cards do so. So likely you can scratch that as a requirement  :)

That Asus PG27AQ is hella pretty, around what time should will it be released or available in the UK i would consider holding off for it.

or rather i should say, is there any kind of indication to a release soon?

Never mind, did some of the googling and i think im set on the PG27AQ. Just gonna wait for it, and hop on the band wagon asap.

I would like the thank you guys for throwing some suggestions at me. Much appreciated.
