Computer Posting Error, Help Me!

Go to solution Solved by Stija,

Correct me if i'm wrong but that's a faulty board. Return it.

So I'm building a new computer, I have a Intel i5 6600K, EVGA Z170 Stinger motherboard, 16 GB of HyperX ddr4 Fury memory. I can list the rest of my parts but I don't think that they matter. Anyways my problem is when I try to post my system it give me a post error of 55. When I looked in my manual it says that that error means no memory installed although there is. I have made sure the memory is seated correctly. I've tried using both sticks alone and switching which slot they're in and I get the same error. The only two solutions I can think of is that I got bad memory or a bad motherboard. I don't have any other system that used ddr4 memory so I can't test it in a different computer. Any ideas or solutions would be helpful, thanks.
