Hi guys, mi pc doesn't work. I installed some noctua industrial case fans to my corsair 760t and suddenly they not only don't work, they even have caused my pc not to work.the black screen apears and tells me to reebot etc so I tried going back to my corsair fans but it just happens the same so I'm relly stuck now here and this days I need my pc working. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 and I'm using an i7 4790K, I'm sure its got something to so with the motherboard and the system fan conectors

how close were you to the power limit of your PSU... also make sure you didnt bump anything like a ram hold down or maybe a lose cpu fan connector

corsair 600t, msi z87-g45, intel 4770k, 16g patriot viper low-pro ram, asus direct cu2 780, crucial 256gig ssd, seagate baracuda 1tb,

Thanks to all of you, I tried a combination of all your answers step by step and it worked. First I unplugged the fans and change the headers the other way round (they're 3 pin conectors) and they were spinning but the system didn't boot so at least I knew I hadn't damage any fan or fan header. Then I went to my bioss set up I could access to configs etc so nothing wrong with my cpu, ram or PSU. My PC consumption is like 400W below the PSU Limit, although at full load I've got no idea but, I don't think there would be a difference of 400W, my current system if it helps is this:

-CPU: i7 4790K @ 4,7 GHz undervolted 1,180v (somehow stable 100% no matter what I throw into it) and not hot, idles at 25-32 degrees and average loads of 65-70 degrees, highest temp ever was 79 degrees encoding a MKV Movie H.264 with GPU Accel. dissabled (just to see)

-RAM: Kingston DDR3 HyperX Blue 32GB (4x8GB) 1600 MHz CL10 @ 1866 MHz CL10 1,52v

-MOBO: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3

-CPU COOLER: Noctua NH-D14

-CASE: Corsair 760T (Stock Fans)

-STORAGE: 1x SSD Samsung 840 EVO 500GB, 1x Toshiba HDD 3TB 64 MB 7200rpm, 1x Segate HDD 1TB 64 MB 7200rpm

-PSU: Tacens Radix IV 800W 80 Plus Silver non-modular

-LG Super Multi Bluray + HD DVD drive

-OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit

-GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 Gaming (Planing to OC it to 1500 MHz)

So at the end I took out the Segate 1TB drive and it booted succesfully so I did a format of the drive and everything ok, although I'm still a bit concerned because when I reebooted it caused a black screen after the windows logo and tried it about 5 times and still the black screen that changed into white from time to time, but I think that got something to do with Windows Update not installing updates correctly so I've dissabled it at the moment until I try it on my laptop and check it works. I haven't shut down the PC since it booted correctly after reebooting so I'm with my fingers crossed because tonight I'll be shuting it down. Thanks to all of you guys, I hope my information is useful in case anyone has the same problem
