Hello!

First my Setup:

Mainboard: Asus Formula Z87 VI

CPU: Intel i7 4770k

GPU: Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 780

RAM: Hyper X 16GB 2133Mhz

CPU and Mainboard are both Watercooled and running a stress test with about 40-50 degrees. (@ 4.1ghz)

______________________________________________________________________________________________

Problem:

I want to overclock it to about 4,4 - 4,5Ghz, but when i use AISuite's "4 Way Optimization" to overclock it to 4,4Ghz it's not running stable, after some time i get a blue screen.

It's running stable with 4,1 Ghz, but i want to get more out of it, it should be possible..., or not?

P.S Sorry for my bad english.

P.S.S Thanks for Help!

Step 1: Don't use AIsuite.

Step 2: Follow an OC guide :) (Maybe someone here can link a decent one for you)

you might just have a bad overclocker. (processor wise)

Yep, I've seen some people who know what they're doing, yet struggle to get some 4770Ks past 4.1GHz, Haswell is the worst OC platform since forever IMO.

Doesn't mean to say if you follow an OC guide and do it properly, you can't get 4.4 or anything like that, because you probably can.

I can't really give any OC advice, because I don't like using OC'd RAM/CPUs in general, I OC GPUs though :3.

Check your memory, cpu etc before OC'in to ensure that they are absolutely fine. Also update your bios to the latest version (some people will most likely of written reviews on versions as some can be more stable prior to the latest)

Go into your BIOS and set your multipliers to 44, then increase your vcore voltage to 1.25 @ manual. (Ensure your not using XMP whilst testing).

That is seriously the 'main' bit of OC'in which is trying to figure out if your CPU will let you boot into windows etc. Try increase voltage, play with cache etc.

This is a pretty nice guide to follow;-
