Any suggestions please! and yes I am using AA as well as DSR 2x. I also have AA in the control panel overriding game settings.

I don't see any shimmering in the video, or maybe I am not looking hard enough.  Can you tell me the time code when it starts happening in the video?

 

And by any chance did your parents or a mad scientist give you any Cortexiphan as a child?  :blink:

Just look at the rusty stairwell and the handrails, chain link, sheet metal, etc. There is shimmering even while the camera isn't moving. 

 

PS: I wish I was given cortexiphan because then I would have an excuse for my obsessive (insane) attention to detail. I pick eveything apart so often that gaming is more of a chore to do honestly.

I can't see the shimmering either. Might be your monitor?

Looks like a bit of anti aliasing and lighting issue, also underneath/behind the metal stairs there is a metallic grill cover.  A potential slight moire issue too?

Looks to me like a glitch with the heat shimmering effect in that game. You know how when you look out far on a road on a hot day? The wavy-ness in the air above the road from the heat?

 

Weird.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs
