If you're going to specifically play Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, I advise play two other Metal Gear games before that:

 

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Portable (the game that takes place before the Metal Gear Solid V continuity)

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes available on PlayStation 3/4, Xbox 360/One, and PC (the prequel to The Phantom Pain)

AFAIK there is pc version for ground zeros, but whats about peace walker? Can I emulate it and play on pc?

Well, PSP emulators exist. I don't use them, however, so I can't help you with setting one up.
