Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Apple Inc has no new naming schemes for their product lines (alongside Google, Samsung and Microsoft)? Is it no surprise that the iPhone 7 and the iPad Air 3 are coming out?

It isn't all nice and simple on Microsoft's side as well; the Windows Phone line and their naming schemes leave people that haven't interacted with the ecosystem before dumbfounded, therefore straying away from the ecosystem.

With these schemes from these well know companies, is it possible to predict the next wave of devices 2 years from now?

What are your opinions on this? Personally, it's all too repetitive.

Product naming schemes should remain somewhat consistent.

Still better than what google did with the nexus line. The naming there is messy.
