iPad 1 charge problem

So my iPad 1 will only charge on its 10w adapter. When I try to use my computer or a built in USB like a USB outlet it won't charge. Does it need a certain wattage. It's also jailbroken could that cause it. I never noticed if it did it before so don't ask.

Some motherboards such as Asus have a feature which will provide enough power to the Ipad/IPhone. The feature is called AI Charger +

Hello 

 

Kull Stalder, Mac pro user...

 

 

 

It is charging it just takes a long time to charge compared to your 10v charger

 

 

about 62% more time to be exact
