Amd cards driver crashes

Only issues I had was when removing my old 15.7.1 drivers for my 270x before installing my 390 it asked if I wanted to remove all drivers or just this version. Never had that asked before so I out all since I played to install all fresh anyway right. Well reboot and the screen is all green and red squares. Figure all well already had files backed up and now is as good a time as ever to do a clean install of win10 and not just the upgrade from 8.

Currently everything is working fine for me the last week and a half with my asus r9 390. Scared to see what happens when 15.8 come out and I need to uninstall these drivers again.

While I have the r9 390 crowds attention I have a ? About the clock speeds. The Msi and asus are oc and they seem similar it rating. So asus says 1050 gaming mode and 1070 oc. So I imagine that is with their gpu tweak that you would have to select it in their software, from pics the Msi looks the same just a mode selector. In the amd driver under hardware it says my core is 1050. So wondering if I just wish to use the amd driver and no more third party software, if I enable the oc and put +2% that should bring me to 1071 in gaming and not have to use a mode select right?
