Installing common pc games windows 8

Steam seems to work for me but LoL gets an error midway through as does Sims 3. Do you have any recommendations on what to do?

Is there an formatting issue and or a java flash or other issue there.

Desk: monitors 3x Asus VE248h(eyefinity), Keyboard Cm Strom Trigger(mx red), Mouse Corsair m65, Headset Audio Technica ATH-M50

Have no idea. I haven't gotten this error. I guess maybe check if you completely updated windows

D: I googled the error code and people were talking about ".net framework" and how if you don't have it then interrupt the installation process. I guess you can try downloading that. I think it's a microsoft thing. But just google and research it a bit first. I may be completely wrong. I hope you fix it :/

I have lol installed on my windows 8 and it works fine. Try downloading net framework.

 

I clean installed windows 8 (yeah after only a couple hours..) but it works now. Only thing that doesn't work is my wireless doesn't find my 5G router so I'm limited to 2mb/s :(

god lucky you, I think im dreaming whenever I get 2mb/s!

Not that this helps, but I have both LoL and Sim 3 on Windows 8 both run flawlessly.

LoL installed for me, have yet to try sims because I'm stuck on this bumass internet because I can't connect to my 5G router -_-
