how does r/microsoftsoftwareswap work

So my grandpa is running a version of windows 7. He gets constant pop ups saying he should "upgrade" ect.

My mom asks me how can we upgrade, i tell her you can for around 60 or 80 $.

she flips out, i tell her about a magical place where its sold cheaper.

She asks how it works. errrmmm...

anyone know?

I've bought my Windows 8.1 key from r/microsoftsoftwareswap, so I have experience with this.

The people are able to provide low cost product keys because they buy them in bulk to keep the price down. No idea where they actually get them from though, but they are legitimate. Anyways, you message the guy with what key(s) you want, then he'll give you the price, then you pay him through PayPal, and then he sends you the key(s). The whole process took a couple days. If it helps, I bought my key from a moderator.
