wireless network card antennas

i have a PCI-E card for my wireless internet and i am getting OK ping at best with some lag spikes, so i wanted to get some better antennas for it, anyone know what to get? is it just bigger is better or is quality a big thing?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
