I'm new to watercooling and am currently in the process of planning my first loop. I was wondering if i could use this modded swiftech d5 pump in conjunction with an xspc photon 170 reservoir in a corsair 750D case. What would my mounting options be for the both of them within the case, and what kind of fittings would i need to connect the pump to the res. Also would i need any other accessories to go with the both of them? Any guidance would be highly appreciated.  Links to the pump/res below. Thanks!

It should not be a problem using those together.

The only problem is that the 750D dont have dedicated pump and reservoir mounts (by the looks of it), so might need some mounting hardware and a drill.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

For the res mounting you would most likely need to drill holes to bolt through the motherboard tray say beside the GPU's, in terms of the fittings itself you can have two fitting and a short length of tubing going to the pump sitting at the bottom of the case.

Thanks for the replies. So to connect the res to the pump it is simply a matter of just using more tubing and compression fittings? I was always under the impression that you needed a dedicated adapter of some sort for specifically connecting a res to a pump. But okay, I was thinking about mounting a 240 on the bottom in front of my psu, a 240 in the front, and a 360 on top. The bottom 240 would obstruct any room that would have been there to mount the pump to the floor of the case, so would I be able to just drill more holes and mount the pump sideways next to the res or would the fact that it is not sitting upright effect the flow? Would a better option be maybe to just scratch the idea of a bottom 240 and do a bottom 140 instead? That way i still have room to secure the pump on the bottom next to the rad.
