Old ssd.

Go to solution Solved by Godlygamer23,

I would just purchase a new SSD if possible.

Hi! Im planning on building my first custom pc, because my other pc cant handle what i want to do with it. I have an old laptop that still boots, and it has an SSD in it. To save some money, I was wondering if I could format the drive and put it in my new computer as a boot drive? Btw, the laptop is from somewhere around 2008. Here's the specs of the new pc if you need it: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rY3jVn

I could still use it though, right? Just for couple extra 200 gbs (somewhere around there) of storage?

Yup, but I don't know how much longer it'll last.
