GTX 690 1 letter brighter then the rest of Geforce GTX logo

robinno98

Hey guys,

I just bought a GTX 690 only the G  of the Geforce GTX logo is brighter then the other letters and i dont know how to fix this because its pretty damm annoying.

Could it be that on the first G their is less green paint or maybe the led is just stronger for some reason.

Maybe its age is showing. If the card performs perfectly fine then I wouldn't worry about it mate.

It would be a hardware fix. You'd need to take the logo out and fiddle with the lighting bar thing. Not something I'd advise doing though, and it's not going to be a simple fix, most likely.

You could try to RMA it, though they may say no, as it's not really a fault with the card.

Unless you just turn your computer on and stare at it, ignore it.

That will probably fix it unless it's a problem with the LEDs themselves...
