CPU/MOBO upgrade

Currently I have AMD FX-6300 3.5ghz 6-core processor and Gigabyte GA-900FXA-UD3 Motherboard. I was told you upgrade my CPU and was told to go Intel. I understands that means I'll need a new board as well. However the Gigabyte board has 6 usb 2.0 and 2 usb 3.0 connections on it and for the peripherals I use I would like to keep close to that amount. Can anyone suggest a motherboard and CPU that would be an upgrade and keep most of the USB ports?

All the H97 boards didn't have enough USB ports. That's why I started this topic lol. Budget I wanna say $350 for both together. Since I wanna put more money into a graphics card. If you can show me a Intel Mobo with as many ports as this:
